Hi,

I tried to create thumbnail for PDF and .mp4 video files using Graphics Mill 5.5 but not able to extract it. Could you please help me on this.

I tried creater reader object for mp4 video file using below code:
IFormatReader reader = MediaFormatManager.CreateFormatReader(fileName);
but it is throwing exception as "The media format is not supported."

Kindly help me.

Hello Parvesh,

Please read the documentation topic: http://www.aurigma.com/d...orSystemRequirements.htm
Perhaps you do not have necessary framework on your machine. Please make sure that you have it. If you have not got necessary framework you should install it. It should helps.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or you still do not have a solution.

Dear Vitaly,

Thanks for quick response. I saw the given URL but as per supported file format there is no support for mp4 video file. If it is then how should we go ahead for mp4 video file.

Thanks,
Parvesh

Hi,

I think that you can use any of these frameworks to support mp4 format. I.e. you can try to install QuickTime on your machine.
