I have a system running Windows 98 (not SE) and IE5 and Uploader V2 does not run in this configuration. Is there something that I should be doing? Addaitionally, system has very litttle RAM. Could this cause a problem? |

We confirm the problem with Windows 98 in some configurations. In 1-2 days we will release Image Uploader 2.1 which will fix this and others problems. |

New version is a significant improvement over 2.0. Thanks for effort. However, we have a disalup machine runing windows 98 (not 98SE) and IE5.5 and still will not run uploader. As they are a very, very small group of users, we send them to an alternate upload screen using conventional HTML File upload controls. Suggestion for future improvement. Our application we only upload downsized thumbnails of file to upload. It taks 2-4 seconds to process thumbnails for uploading in our application, would it be possible to put the processing for the next file in a background thread that executes while uploading and waiting for response from the current file? Especially on slower machines this could reduce upload time alot. This is a low priority request, but would be nice Keep up good work. Your coders really know their stuff. |

Thank you for your words. Our developers are really pleased with them. :) As for your request, the idea is very interesting. It is feasible for one-by-one upload only (because we need fully generate HTTP POST request before starting upload, so we cannot do it asynchronously for one-time upload). While some file is uploading, we could generate next POST request... Thank you for your idea, it is possible we will implement this feature in further versions.
