Dmitry,

I posted an issue yesterday about the Aurigma.GraphicsMill.dll causing an issue in my web config on some web servers that I deploy it to. There are some that work and others that won't no matter what I try. I sent a screen shot of the message as an attachment. I need to know the best way to add the keys and sections in 2005, it is not the same as 2003VS. If you could post an example maybe this would clear up my problems. I really need some help on this I have spent a few days trying to figure it out but I am at a loss.

I would prefer to use strong names if I could but everything I have tried doesn't work.

Thanks in advance

Chris

We have localized the problem. Assembly "Aurigma.GraphicsMill.dll" has reference to "msvcr71.dll", unfortunately .NET Framework 2.0 doesn't contain this library. If you want to solve this problem as soon as possible, you should just copy this file from machine with .NET Framework 1.1 to "Windows\System32" folder of machine with .NET Framework 2.0.

We will make up a decision of this problem by release of version 3.5.
Sincerely yours,
Dmitry Sevostyanov

Have you corrected this problem or are we required to place the msvcr71 DLL in the System32 directory?

Hello,

Unfortunately Graphics Mill for .NET has reference to msvcr71.dll, this library is included into installation package of the software and it is automatically copied into system32 folder.
Sincerely yours,
Dmitry Sevostyanov

Currently our assemblies are compiled in VS .NET 2003 and they work with .NET 1.1 and .NET 2.0. In order to eliminate usage of msvcr71.dll we should to build software in VS 2005. As assemblies built in VS 2005 will work in .NET 2.0 only, we have not included them in current release, however we plan to do it in next update.
Best regards,
Fedor Skvortsov
