I'm currently evaluating your product in the .NET environment.

I have a need to change the metadata (IPTC) of Jpeg files without recompressing the files or change them in any other way. I tried your MetadataViewer demo application and when I saved a Jpeg file I found out that the size of the file had changed dramatically.

I don't know much about pixel formats but when I right click the file before saving it, the widnows OS tells me that the color representation is YCC. After saving the file it becomes CMYK.

Please tell me if I can save the metadata without changing the file except for its metadata.

Thank you,

Hello Noam,

Currently Graphics Mill needs to recompress the JPEG file to save the metadata (both IPTC and EXIF). However we plan to add an ability to modify metadata without recompression in further versions.
