Is version an issue when serializing an instance of LayCollection, eg, MultiLayerViewer1.Layers.
If yes, how to approach it.

For instance,

Currently, we use Graphics Mill version 5.5 and we store one edited multilayerviewer.layers in
a file by using LayerCollection serialize method and have no problem to restore it back to a multilayerviewer by using LayerCollection deserialize method.

But can we also restore those layers which are serialized using Graphics Mill version 5.5 when the later versions of Graphics Mill are used, for instance, version 6

in other words, will there be any issue when an instance of LayerCollection is serialized into a file using a lower version Graphics Mill, eg version 5.5 and is deserialized back using a higher version of Graphics Mill, eg, version 6.0

Hello Ming,

I am sorry for this delay.

Answering your question: sure, it will be possible to desterilize data using latter version of GM, if the data is serialized by earlier one.

If you have any other questions, please post them here.
