Hi,

Just wondering, CPU vs RAM, which is playing better roll for the MLV processing? Will the MLV taking advantage of the new technology of those i7 and such? As what we aware, seems like there is no much different between we using a core 2 duo and a i7? Does that because of MLV processing only using 1 core at a time?

Please advise.

Hello,

Graphics Mill supports multithreading for imaging operations, for example, image resize.

Not every operation can benefit from multithreading. For example, input/output operations working with various disk drives cannot be parallelized. Most probably, some of operations used in your software are of the same sort and they consume significant portion of time. That is why you do not see difference here.
Sincerely yours,
Dmitry Sevostyanov
