Im switching to using cloud services at Rackspace. Does anyone know if it will work the same as Amazon or Nirvanix? Rackspacecloud.com has their api documentation but cant make sense of it. |

Hi, No, their API doesn't support uploading objects through POST request, which is used for uploading files by Image Uploader. From dev guide http://www.rackspaceclou...f-devguide-20090812.pdf: Quote:POST POST operations against an Object name are used to set and overwrite arbitrary key/value metadata. You cannot use the POST operation to change any of the Object’s other headers such as Content-Type, ETag, etc. It is not used to upload storage Objects (see PUT). However, you still can upload files to your server from Image Uploader and then upload that files from your server to the Rackspace cloud storage. |
