We are currently evaluating the Graphics Mill product, and are ready to proceed with purchasing it, but for our final demo to the owner, we need to be able to output type as vector with images saved rasterized in a pdf file. We can get the type to come out in a pdf if we rasterize it, but is it possible to output a single pdf with vector type from something like the Advanced Web Controls demo?
Thanks!!
Chad

Hello Chad,
Unfortunately, Graphics Mill supports saving raster information only to PDF format and is unable to store vector primitives there. All you can do here at this moment is to try exporting layer settings from Graphics Mill and import them to PDF using some external PDF component. |

Hi,
This sounds interesting. Mind to share more information? Example on what type of 3rd party component? And also the what kind of layer setting to export. Thanks.
We will be really happy if we could export the text into a vector form and not raster form. Thanks.

We are also interested. We have tried itextsharp, but can't figure out how to get the layers to a format it can use out of GraphicsMill. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, Unfortunately, we do not have appropriate sample project. However, this is the algorithm how to do it. The firs of all you need to get information about objects of each layer. How to do it you can read here. After you get all necessary information you can process it using your iTextSharp. |
