Dmitry,

I am upgrading from 5.1 to 5.5. I installed the 32 bit version on a 32 bit machine. Do not want any confusion over 64x. When I add the item to my toolbox and drag it down onto a form I get an unexpected error and visual studio 2008 closes. No matter what I do I get this problem. The 5.1 version works just fine as expected. I am using visual studio 2008. Any ideas?

Thanks

Chris

By the way the ajax control says it cannot be added when you try to add it manually. It is like the install file that I am downloading from my files is not a good copy of the installer.

The error I get in the toolbox now is that the following assemblies are installked sdk assemblies but could not be shown in the customize toolbox dialog because they are missing one or more components. Please make sure all necessary libraries are available.

I only get this on the 5.5 not the 5.1.

I used the gacutil and made sure that all of the assemblies were added. This makes no idfference.

Any ideas now?

So I ahve no solution for this? I cannot design using 5.5? I have to use 5.1 and then deoply assemblies over my 5.1 assemblies? Are you serious?

I must be missing something because I downloaded that version yesterday and it still does the same thing in the designer on VS2008. Any ideas on why?

Hi,

Please make sure that you correctly updated references. You should remove from your project all Graphics Mill references and add new ones.
