Hello sir or madame

I am trying to perform something new where I stuck. I have an application which can apply a mosaic transformation on a rectangle, like in picture 1 can be seen.

I would like to add support to mosaic-ize an ellipse now. Unfortunately this article wasn't of help.
http://forums.aurigma.co...-elliptical-marquee.aspx
The result Image is just cropped rectangularly.

What I've already so far is an elliptic rubberband. But when trying to apply the tranformation to it, it results in pixelating the outer rectangle. I wonder, shouldnt the elliptic rubberband inherently understand the command and only apply the transformation to its elliptic mask?

Best regards and thanks in advance.

Hello,

Please make sure that you save result picture in image format that supports transparent alpha such as .png or .tif. If you still have this problem please send us your code.
