I cannot load the javaversion of the control using Firefox 2.0...

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.18) Gecko/20081029 Firefox/2.0.0.18

And java 1.6...

Version 6 Update 10 (bulid 1.6.0_10-b33)

I can run the applet just fine from my development machine, but when I went to test it on 2 computers that have those configs I get the following error...

load: class com.aurigma.imageuploader.ImageUploader.class not found.

java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.aurigma.imageuploader.ImageUploader.class

at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source)

at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)

at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)

at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)

at sun.applet.AppletClassLo... etc.

I installed Firefox 2 and Java 1.6 on my dev system and it can resolve the Applet fine, but I suspect that is because it was already loaded on here for different versions of Firefox, and is installed on this system anyways.

Does anyone know how i can resolve this error so that those users with Firefox 2 can see the upload tool? I am using ImageUploader Dual 5.1, but have the ActiveX version disabled so only using the JavaApplet.

Thanks,

Rob

Hello,

I recommend you to update your current version of Image Uploader to Image Uploader 5.7. Your current version has many problems with Java applet which was fixed in Image Uploader 5.7.

About exeption you see in Java console. Most likely you have pointed incorrect path to ImageUploader5.jar file in javaAppletCodeBase property. Please make sure that this path is correct.
