Hi,

I have tried this with the latest version downloaded tonight, and also by reverting back to an earlier version from February.

When attempting to use the uploader in the latest version of Opera (9.22) and with the latest JRE (1.6.0 - build 1.6.0_02-b06) I get as far as adding files. When I attempt to start the upload, the progress dialog appears but is empty as if failing in some way during initialisation. At this point the java console reports no errors at all.

When I click on the dialog anywhere, I get the following in the java console:

Code:
ava.lang.NullPointerException
	at javax.swing.SystemEventQueueUtilities.queueComponentWorkRequest(Unknown Source)
	at javax.swing.RepaintManager.nativeAddDirtyRegion(Unknown Source)
	at javax.swing.SwingPaintEventDispatcher.createPaintEvent(Unknown Source)
	at sun.awt.windows.WComponentPeer.postPaintIfNecessary(Unknown Source)
	at sun.awt.windows.WComponentPeer.handleExpose(Unknown Source)
	at sun.awt.windows.WToolkit.eventLoop(Native Method)
	at sun.awt.windows.WToolkit.run(Unknown Source)
	at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
Aurigma ImageUploader version: 2.1.21.0
Current document URL: http://www.zumyn.com/submit/602689213/upload/
Exception, location - IUMain:CreateComponents(), message - java.lang.InterruptedException
java.lang.NullPointerException
	at com.opera.AppletPanel.runHandlerThread(AppletPanel.java:475)
	at com.opera.AppletPanel.run(AppletPanel.java:334)
	at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

On a more general note, I've found the latest Java version to be pretty flaky regardless of which browser I'm using. I get various lockups when trying to deal with large numbers of files. I have the max file count set to 500, but I get a variety of errors such as locking up when selecting large numbers of files to add to the upload list, or trying to start the upload with a large number of files. Having downgraded back to the version dated 14-Feb-2007 I'm finding things much more stable - aside from this Opera problem.

Hello,

Sorry for a long delay…

Try to upgrade Image Uploader to the latest version available (2.5.35). I have uploaded files successfully from several samples on aurigma.com online demo with such configuration: WinXP, Opera 9.23, JRE 1.6, IU 2.5.35.
