Hello,

Our client has brought this demo to our attention (https://customerscanvas.com/demos/product/printed-products/single-page/envelopes/envelope) and wants to incorporate some of the aspects of the demo into their process.

We are currently using the Variable Data Printing process, and I have had some difficulties in the past when trying to incorporate new things into that process. I was curious if there is any specific documentation related to this particular demo, and/or possibly the code for this demo?

My main questions are regarding setup for the Envelope options (paper, liners, address, and stamp options), and how those interact with the editor.

Thank you for your help,
Shane

Hello Shane,

Changing mockups (e.g. for paper) can be done using setMockups() method for the whole product:
https://customerscanvas....l.product.setmockups.htm
or setMockup() method for specific surface:
https://customerscanvas....el.surface.setmockup.htm

Adding liner, address and stamp options can be implemented using setPrintAreas() method - it changes current design file:
https://customerscanvas....urface.setprintareas.htm

I should also say that these and many other frequently used operations are automated in UI Framework:
https://customerscanvas....t/ui-framework/readme.md

Also new Design Atoms framework (available since version 5) gives big freedom in design elements manipulations, allowing to create your custom user interface.

Regards,
Andrew
