I'm developing an application for a sports photography company that will allow them to quickly proof / edit their photos.

Each of their galleries is contained in a folder, which when selected should load a thumbnail of each image in that folder.

Currently, I'm returning a list of filenames and adding them 1 at a time to the ThumbnailListView control.

Obviously, this takes time when the folder contains 100-500 photos that are anywhere from 1-3MB in size.

Other programs, like Nikon View, load thumbnails really fast, so I'm wondering how I can achieve this with your product.

Thanks,

Lonnie Ellis

Hello Ellis,

I think that the reason of the issue is that published version of the control doesn't extract EXIF thumbnails. And, for example, Nikon software most probably do this. This feature already implemented in our development version and will be available in the next release.
