Greetings, We have a customer who wants us to design a web application that will allow them to create (draw) product labels and save them as .pcx files. Is this something within the capabilities of the Graphics Mill for .Net product?
Thanks |

Hello Don,
Graphics Mill has pretty rich drawing functionality, so you can use it to create labels (although it depends on how exactly you want to do it). However PCX file format is supported only for opening.
Is it crucial to save result as PCX? Maybe some other file format will be ok (like TIFF, PNG, BMP, JPEG, etc)?

I was just reading through the programming guide for the printer we are dealing with and found that we are not limited to the PCX format. We can use windows bitmap format but our file size is limited to 32K in either case. given these are black and white I do not think that would be an issue. The only problem I can forsee is that they have a very extensive library already in PCX. I suppose we could convert them if they wanted.
I also still have questions about wether or not we can do this through a web interface. Just seems like a LOT of client side work to me but maybe not. Do you know of any good examples I could look at for this kind of functionality? The help file is rather basic.
Thanks Again, |

Hello Don,
Can you specify which functionality do you want to implement in your web application? |
