Will Graphics Mill 3.5 run in 64-bit mode on x64 processors? If not, is 64-bit support planned in the future? Thanks, Alex

Hello Alex, Unfortunately Graphics Mill for .NET doesn't support 64bit mode at this time. |

Are there any plans to add it in the future? Alex

Hello, We plan to support 64-bit mode in the future, but unfortunately at this moment I cannot specify time constraints. |

Will it even run on a 64 bit platform? As in 32 bit emulated mode, or along side other 32 bit code that seems to run fine?

Hello, Current version of Graphics Mill for .NET doesn't run in x64 mode, 64bit support is scheduled in the future. According to 32bit emulation - we will check it in the near future and let you know. |

Any update to this? (The question about 32bit emulated mode) I want to start preparing for vista, and so far this is the only app I'm having problems with..

Hello, Let's examine two different situations: You have software written for .NET Framework 1.0 or 1.1. In this case you just should install .NET Framework 1.1 or 1.0 on your x64 station and run your application. Your software is wriiten for .NET Framework 2.0. In this case you should recompile your software for x86 platform. Then you should install .NET Framework 2.0 on your x64 machine and place msvcr71.dll in windows/system32 folder. You can copy this library from Windows\Microsoft .NET\Framework\v1.1* if you have .NET Framework istalled on your machine or from another machine with .NET Framework1.1. After that you can run your application. |
