Hello Aurigma team, I want to combine multiple images into one in way, that each image has its own layer in the new image. I found Problem saving and viewing multi-page TIFF from 11 years ago, but TiffWriter.AddFrame(tiffFrame) is in C# not or no longer available. That is assuming layers are the same as frames. I could not find anything else on the matter. Point me in the right direction, please. Regards Sebastian

Hi Sebastian, Graphics Mill supports multipage (multiple images) TIFF files only. We didn't implement multilayer (stacked images) TIFF features as their format is closed. For example, Adobe Photoshop uses its own extensions of TIFF format to store information about additional layers. Could you send us an example of multilayer TIFF file?
Best regards, Fedor Skvortsov

Hello Fedor, Ok, so my plan will not work with tiff. I found PsdProcessor. Is it possible to save the changed source as psd? No, I don't have a multilayer tiff right now. Regards Sebastian

Graphics Mill doesn't support writing of the PSD format. PsdProcessor relies on the core libraries of the SDK, so it doesn't support either. Why do you need to save to PSD files? Where are you going to use PSD files later? Probably it is possible to find a workaround.

I try to add images in a certain arrangement together in a single image. Since I can not guarantee the beauty or even the correctness of the arrangement, these images must be separately moveable in the result image. Cutting is not an option, because the images may overlap. Using layers, that would no longer be a problem. As tiff does not support layers, psd remained as the only option. Optimizing the arrangement is the task I wanted to avoid, because it is complex. I can not disclose more on this point.

Well, you can save to the PDF format. It will allow you to edit files later in any vector graphics editor (Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, CorelDRAW and so on).
