Hi Dmitry,
I deployed a setup to a test computer that does not have visual studio installed or the Graphics Mill SDK.

I ran a test of recording an animation and I got this error
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Codecs.FormatWriter._Close()
at Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Codecs.FormatWriter.Dispose(Boolean disposing)
at Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Codecs.AviWriter.Dispose(Boolean disposing)
at Aurigma.GraphicsMill.SyncHandler.Finalize()
at Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Codecs.AviWriter..ctor()

The error occured on calling the .Close() method of the avi writer.

(memory usage was negligble)

edit: I lied it is occuring on the Constructor of the aviwriter... is there somethign special I have to do to deploy to an end-users computer?

Thanks
Paul

ok, I think the issue is related to licensing (on the end-users machine)
I am following the steps to create a licx file with my application but I keep getting an error when I try to compile with the .licx file.

Error 1 'Could not load file or assembly 'Aurigma.GraphicsMill' or one of its dependencies. Could not find or load a specific file. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131621)' D:\projects\ArasHD Solution\ArasHD.Main\LC ArasHD.Main

Hello Paul,

Yes you are right - the error, you get, is related to license compiler exception. To resolve it please perform the step listed in the PRB: License Compiler Exception 0x80131621 topic. Then could you please let me know about your results.
