Hello,

I'm trying to get image cropping working but I cant seem to figure out how to set the hard width and height of image cropping area. For example, I'm working with relatively big images (1700x2414) and I want to allow users to be able to select a section of the image and when its cropped to be an exact size that I've specified (ex: 500x750).

Another issue that I have come across is that when I crop an image the cropped image does not look as its supposed to. But, if I right click > save image as, the image is cropped properly. Any reasoning for this?

I have looked at the image cropping demo and the API and I cant seem to figure out exactly how this is done. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time!

Hello,

Could you explain your problem in more detail?

If you develop Web application, please, read "Cropping Photos Using Client-Side Scripting" as start point.
