When you create new instance of ImageUploaderWriter and set width/height to 100%:

var iu = new ImageUploaderWriter("ImageUploader1", "100%", "100%");

you may notice that Image Uploader size is different in various browser types. It occurs because of a different browsers behavour. To eliminate this problem with Image Uploader you should put Image Uploader to a container. It could be a div or a form element. Of course, it is required to set width and height of element where Image Uploader is put. Here is minor sample how to implement it:

<form style = “width: 500px, height: 500px”>
  <script type="text/javascript">
    var iu = new ImageUploaderWriter("ImageUploader1", "100%", "100%");
    /* You code */
