I have Graphics Mill 4.5 and am trying to make it work on a Windows 2008 server, however it doesn't seem too happy!

I have placed msvcr71.dll onto the server, in case that was the problem but it still errors.

The error I get is

Could not load file or assembly 'Aurigma.GraphicsMill.WebControls' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Can anyone help?

Many thanks

Hi,

According to error message you have Web application. In this case you do not need to use msvcr71.dll. To resolve your problem you should configure your web server as 32-bit. How to do it you can read here:
HOWTO: Run Graphics Mill on x64 workstations
See the Web applications section.

I tried to follow that guide and think I changed the required parts, however we're running Windows Server 2008 and so it is different.

I still cannot get it to run and yes it is a web application.

Do you have any Server 2008 specific tips for getting it to run?

Many thanks
