I am constructing an AVI from bitmaps using the AVI Processor add-on. All works fine until I call AddAudioStream, which always results in the following exception:

"Unable to open media due to damage."

The WAV file I am attempting to add is converted from an MP3 file using LAME.EXE with default settings.
http://lame.cvs.sourceforge.net/*checkout*/lame/lame/doc/html/switchs.html

It also plays fine in Windows Media Player.

Can you provide more information about this exception? What is the expected media format? Is there any other reason besides file corruption that would cause this exception to be thrown?

Also, a second question. Is it possible to layer audio files? So, to add two files to the AVI and have them play at the same time?

Thanks!

Solved the audio issue. Abandoned LAME and used another 3rd party converter. Anyone interested in what I ended up using feel free to PM me.

Also figured out how to add mutliple audio files layered. It was quite easy.

Thanks. Your product is fantastic. One of the best components I've ever used.
