Hi Forum,

does anybody outside there has an idea whether it is possible to develop apps that will run on Macintosh OSX, using the mono project ?

Best regards

Henricus

Graphics Mill uses managed + unmanaged code. The unmanaged code depends on system services and so it can run on Windows platform only.

Hello again,

Many thanks for your fast reply.

Okay - so there is no chance for any kind of cross-developing imaging-based apps for MS and Mac using GM.

Off topic - do you have any idea if there exists a tool for OSX which could be compared to GM?

Or does Aurigma plan to deliver such a tool?

What I essentially need is color management capability...

Best regards

Henricus

Hi Henricus,

Unfortunately, there is no way to use Graphics Mill on Mac. And we do not plan to develop appropriate tool.

Hi,

We need something for MacOS too.. Do share with us if you came across any. The feature we mainly need is the multilayer viewer. Please share if anyone found any great multilayer image editor out there.....

Hello,

Maintaining two applications based on completely different code base, could be real pain for you. Maybe you consider implementing this functionality in web application? It will allow you to keep single code and logic for various platforms.

Sincerely yours,

Dmitry Sevostyanov
