We currently have a large amount of code written against the Graphics Mill 2.0 version, but we need to add support for creating thumbnail images for MOV files, which isn't supported in that version. Can we have a single app reference both of these versions and have then run side by side without interference?

Hello,

If you install both Graphics Mill for .NET and Graphics for ActiveX on the same machine it should not bring any problems. I am not sure how you are going to use them in the same application – either port ActiveX code to .NET or .NET – to ActiveX. But the both ways are possible. Maybe the HOWTO: Write COM Wrapper for Graphics Mill topic will help you if you are going to use the second way.

References for both products are available in installation packages. If you do not have it for Graphics Mill for ActiveX I attached it to this post just in case.

GraphicsMill20Help.zip (2,212kb) downloaded 4 time(s).
Sincerely yours,
