We have a website that handles photos. Users crop, zoom, resize, and rotate images to fit various image placeholders. These are done at a resized image that is typically 96dpi (to suit web rendering). We are using Aurigma to replicate the preview generated at the website on to the actual – 300dpi image in the archive for printing. We transfer image dimensions as pixels and, image coordinates from the website to Aurigma. We expect that Aurigma replicates the preview as seen by the user, into the archival quality image. While doing this Aurigma should stick to the dimensions from the website preview accurately.

In this background, here are our questions:
1. Which is the best method in Aurigma to handle this requirement
2. We tried the resize tool and face problems (the rendered image is not in line with the preview)
3. What is the best method to transfer image size and coordinates to Aurigma
4. How do we ensure that constraint proportions are retained during the transfer without any loss of details
5. Why does Aurigma recommend that we go with the smaller dimension when resizing
