Hi,

We are evaluating the Photo Editor tool and would like to use it in a web application which allows users to crop an image. However, we would like to limit the user's choices. The final image should be 58 pixels x 60 pixels at 72 DPI.

Q1) Can we set the DPI to be 72 regardless of the DPI of the uploaded image?

Q2) How can we set the crop dimensions in inches. It looks like the default options are in inches.

Please advise

Thanks

Sri

Hello,

Sorry for delayed answer.

1. Before to save the image edited in the Photo Editor you may load it to Graphics Mill shipped with Photo Editor and set resolution to 72DPI. So it can be done.

2. If you need to apply crop with rectangle which size is defined in pixels there is no the way other than modifying Photo Editor client scripts. I attached the edited script showing how to implement the desired functionality. Please, take a look at _updateRubberband function.
