I have the need to take 100 images, stitch them together and make them into a 24 X 24 inch something (jpg or pdf). Does this product support this? How would you do this? Thanks, Linda |

Do you mean to stitch multiple photos from different points of view to entire panoramic image or do you mean just to create mosaic from them? |

Hello Linda, Graphics Mill supports the required functionality. The simpliest way to implement this functionality is to create destination bitmap in memory and draw images over it as it is described in Overlaying Images. This approach has one major disadvantage. You have to load the whole destination image into memory and if you are creating large image (say 24x24 inch, 600 dpi requires more than 622Mb of memory), you can get "Out of memory" on 32-bit platform. The solution is to use Windows 64-bit with Graphics Mill 64-bit or utilize lossless Jpeg handling. If Jpeg is option for you, you may save destination image to Jpeg and patch it with images not decompressing the whole destination image into the memory.
