hi, im recently getting error -2147024882 - GraphicsMillErrorOutOfMemory. it happens every now and than. a complete server reboot fixes the problem. server specs - windows server 2003 - iis6 - 4GB memory - 190GB avaiable harddrive space the size of processed images is not large than 2MB. i check process mode isolation and switched between iis5 emulation and worker process with no luck. the error occured in both modes. could anyone help or point me in the right direction? thank you very much.

It is possible it makes sense to configure application pools for sites on your server and set worker process recycling. I suggest to check out this article for explanations. Hope this helps.

thanks andrew. the server hosts only one web. i tried worker process mode before with recycling at the default setting. no luck. also, the problem with recycling is that you lost all application and session variables when it comes to an process recycling. the IIS process seldomly goes beyond 300MB. an this with 1500 concurrent users. so i think memory isn´t the real point. any other suggestions or ideas? thanks kai

But what is about other services on this machine? Maybe SQL Server or some other service consumes all the rest of memory... If you think that the problem is in Graphics Mill, could you tell: 1. How often it occurs? 2. Does it occur in some specific method (which one if yes) or in some random one? 3. Could you post a code snippet that causes the problem (or submit case with it)?
