Hi,
I am testing my web application using localhost and get an error on upload saying the IP is not registered now that I am no longer using a trial license key. My understanding was that I could always upload from localhost. I would guess that the issue is the S3 upload. Do I need to get developer keys for the local IP addresses of the development machines? Or have I misconfigured something?

Hi Mike,
Additional license key is necessary to be able to upload to Amazon S3. As far as I can see you have already created a support ticket for this issue, we will create it there.

For those with the same issue you need a developer license for each amazon bucket you upload to.
I am still unclear on one point: I have licensed the uploader to my IP addresses for the production server. Once the site is on the production machine will that be correct or do I need to license the uploader to the amazon accounts still?

If you are going to upload to Amazon S3 instead of your server after you go live, you need to insert both license keys (separated with a semicolon).
I realize that it may look a bit confusing, but from the point of view of the uploader, you are opening it on one website and upload files to another one. That's why it requires license keys for both parent page and the upload destination URL.
If the destination server were a regular server, you would have to order one more license, however we make an exception for Amazon S3 and give you free license key (provided that you have a production license for your website).
Hope this makes sense.

Super. So I would include my paid licenses and the developer licenses for Amazon in my Web.Config file when I release into production?
