Version: ImageUploader 6.5.6.0 ActiveX, Internet Explorer 9 We currently do detection on version with vbscript. We are successfully detecting that the installed version 6.5.6.0 is not the version we want to upgrade to, 6.5.19.0. However, that detection means that the currently installed version of ImageUploader is loaded into the browser. When we detect that an installation or update is required, we present a link that opens a new window that contains detailed installation instructions and the <object> tag, so that window is where the user is prompted for permission to install. But for some reason, the user now has to open that second window twice in succession giving permission to install both times, then restart the browser in order for ImageUploader to successfully update. Do you have any suggestions?
