In Flash version of the control you can set MaxFileCountExceeded Property to value like "...no more than {0} file(s).", and {0} is substituted by MaxFileCount value. The same setting doesn't work in ActiveX version of the control. "{0}" text is shown as-is, it's not getting replaced by the actual MaxFileCount value. Bug?

Thanks.

Susan,

ActiveX/Java version doesn't support this placeholder, you can only display the name of the file which wasn't added to the upload pane.

There is an inconsistency in documentation. Flash version shows [name] as a possible placeholder, but this placeholder doesn’t work in Flash version (it works in ActiveX). While {0} works in Flash but not in ActiveX. It would be great to have a placeholder for MaxFileCount in ActiveX (it was available in version 6 under [limit] tag).

Thanks.
