Hi,

Did I understand right that you have problems with installation ActiveX control in Internet Explorer?

If so, please do the following:

  1. Make sure that ActiveX controls are allowed to be downloaded and installed.

  2. Make sure that security of your network which your machine is connected to, allows to downloading ActiveX.

  3. Download and install Standalone ActiveX Installer for your version of Image Uploader.

If you experience any other problem please describe it in more details.

Best regards,

Oh, I understand now.

If your users are not allowed to install anything on their computer, you can use Image Uploader Java.

By default Image Uploader uses ActiveX version in IE and Java versions in other browsers. You can make your Image Uploader use Java version in IE as well. Please read this topic to learn more.

Java applet doesn't need to be installed, however it requires Java to be installed on the clients' computers.

If Java version is not a solution as well, you can try Upload Suite Flash/HTML5.

ActiveX version should be installed only one time, before the first use. You can contact your IT staff who has administrative privileges and install Image Uploader component with his/her help.

Use Standalone ActiveX installer as I told earlier.

Unfortunately there no other way to use ActiveX version, it should be installed first.
