I am using Flash/HTML5 uploader version 8.0.8 with Javascript as upload technology: However I keep getting Package upload error { errorCode: 6, errorMessage: " [0]", responseText: "" }

[htmluploader_trace] [INFO] Starting upload...
aurigm...lash.js (line 618)
[htmluploader_trace] [INFO] Applying converter { index: 0, mode: *.*=sourceFile, thimbnailFitMode: fit, thumbnailWidth: 96, thumbnailHeight: 96, thumbnailBgColor: #ffffff }
aurigm...lash.js (line 618)
[htmluploader_trace] [INFO] Item created: { mode: sourceFile, name: car.jpg, file: [object File], width: 275, height: 183}
aurigm...lash.js (line 618)
[htmluploader_trace] [WARNING] Package upload error { errorCode: 6, errorMessage: " [0]", responseText: "" }

Does anyone know what this error code mean or how to resolve it?

Many Thanks
Girma

Hello Girma,

Could you please provide me with additional information:
  1. Does it occurs in all the browsers (Firefox, Chrome, IE)? Please check it.
  2. Which browser you use when get the issue first time?
  3. Check server-side log and send them me.
  4. If it possible, please provide me with a link to your page with the uploader (login/password if any). If you do not want to post credentials here, you may submit new support ticket.
Looking forward to you reply..
Best regards,

Hi Dmitry

Thanks for your response: I get the issue in FireFox, but In IE the upload window appears to be blank (which may be a separate issue). There is nothing coming through the server log. I am trying this on my local environment so access is not possible.

I am using the same licence key as I was doing for ActiveX/Java Uploader, Does the HTML5/Flash uploader require a different licence key?

Yes, HTML5/Flash uploader requires another key. I will add new support case to your account and generate a trial key for HTML5/Flash there. You will need to specify it though parameters.

However, I assume that the problem, you face, has another reason but not the incorrect key. Could you please provide me with a complete sample application so that I will be able to deploy it locally and test.
