One of my users is telling me that the IOS version of Aurigma Up requires GPS coordinates. Why????????? This requirement is a showstopper for my application. I'm using for development and test the Android app where only storage and network access is required

Hi Veronica, Most probably your customer is confused about the necessity to turn the Location Services on. Aurigma Up uses ALAssetsLibrary to work with images and get their metadata. This library requires Location Services to be on. Latest Aurigma Up 1.3 version Start Screen describes in details why it should be done. I hope this makes sense.
