Hi - does anyone know how to prevent(confirm by user) a page reload/leave during files upload. The problem is that some browsers reload the pages by default every hour or so. Also the user might try to leave the page by mistake - usually the upload takes 1-2 hrs so it has to be restarted from beginning.

Hello Mihail,

As I know, Safari browser on Mac can reload the pages. It occurs if you run another application which requires more memory. Then Mac unloads Safari from the memory and if you come back to the page, it will look like just opened. Unfortunately, it is caused by “smart” Mac system. In this case, you can try to embed Image Uploader control to modal popup window. Please learn HOWTO: Integration Image Uploader control and AJAX ModalPopup extender to embed the uploader/downloader correctly.
