Last week we have got several complaints from our clients that Image Uploader does not resize images in Google Chrome browser.

Symptoms:

  1. You upload small thumbnails, but get large images on the server (like source files);

  2. Files size in progress dialog is different from actual files size;

  3. You use Express License with 3Mpix restriction on thumbnail converters. You set size of resized images, e.g. 640x480, but get the message clicking “Upload” button:

    Cannot Create Thumbnail of specified size due to licensing restrictions.

Our engineers have found what caused this issue and fixed it. You are able to download fixed version of Image Uploader 7 from attachments. The next release of Image Uploader will be free of this problem.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Update:

Image Uploader 7.0.28 with the bug fix has been issued. It is available to download on our website. Please read also What's New section.
