I'm having the cookie lost issue in Firefox using the Image Uploader Flash. I found this forum post about the issue here. However, it is regarding the Image Uploader Standard. Is there a way to handle this using the Flash version? If so, can you please post the code?

Hello Dru, Thank you for your question. Yes, you can add cookies to the upload request for Flash Uploader. To do it, use the addField(String, String) method of the metadata class: Code: $au.imageUploaderFlash({
id: 'Uploader1',
// ... other parameters
});
$au.imageUploaderFlash('Uploader1').metadata().addField('ASPNETSESSID', '<%=Page.Session.SessionID %>');
$au.imageUploaderFlash('Uploader1').metadata().addField('ASPNETAUTHID', '<%=Request.Cookies[FormsAuthentication.FormsCookieName].Value %>');
$au.imageUploaderFlash('Uploader1').writeHtml();
Please read detailed information on it in the Preserving Sessions and Authentication Tickets Passed in Cookies article in the documentation. |
