Image Uploader 6.5.6 ActiveX won't install on client

Rank: Newbie Groups: Member Joined: 8/29/2010(UTC) Posts: 4		Hi, we're trying to upgrade our website to Image Uploader 6.5.6, but I'm running into some trouble with the ActiveX version. When I load the page, I get the yellow bar on top notifying me of the control. I select install, and it reloads the page. I then get the security popup asking me if I want to install the software, I click install. After that, the control is downloaded, but instead of the Image Uploader, I get the text defined for the `instructionsCommon' property. When I look in the add-ons that are installed in Internet Explorer, Aurigma Image Uploader is NOT there. I've tested this both in IE 7 and IE 8 The Java version of Image Uploader works fine, both in Internet Explorer and other browsers. We're upgrading from 5.7, I've changed nothing in the loader script except the CodeBase, FileName, Version and LicenseKey values Any suggestions?

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Member Joined: 5/29/2010(UTC) Posts: 1,310 Thanks: 8 times Was thanked: 111 time(s) in 111 post(s)		Hello Vincent, Please follow this way to resolve the problem: be sure that you replace your ImageUploder5.cab, ImageUploader5.jar and iuembed.js files with the new ones for the 6th version (ImageUploader6.cab, ImageUploader6.jar and iuembed.js); check that the URL you specify in iu.activeXControlCodeBase is valid and the CAB file is downloadable; if the last point is okay, please open IE and go to the page with Image Uploader; follow all steps to install ActiveX control. Image Uploader should be on the page. Please let me know whether it resolves the problem.

Then select All add-ons in Show: field. Aurigma ActiveX control should be shown. Please let me know, does Image Uploader work now?
