Hi. I've looked through the forum, but didn't find an answer for my issue. I know it's possible to disable the imagefile resize during upload, which the preparing step is doing. But after this function is disabled, the uploader still uses a lot of time listing or somewhat showing the thumbnails in the uploading applet (Short time for small files, but quite a time for just ordinary image file sizes). Is it possible to get around this? I just wan't the uploader to start uploading immediately, and not wasting time on this listing thing.. Regards Marc

Hello Marc, Thanks for contacting us. According to the article How Does Image Uploader Work: when the user starts upload, Image Uploader (ActiveX control or Java applet) prepares a HTTP POST request with selected files and additional data and sends it to the server page specified by you. It means if even you disable thumbnail’s upload, the preparing time will be decreased but it will be anyway. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to let me know. |
