Hi all, I am using Image Uploader 5.x Is it possible to determine in Javascript if Image Uploader has successfully been installed/loaded on the user's machine? I am planning on creating a temporary DIV with a nice little loading.gif image and an explanation to user that they will have to allow an ActiveX control or Java applet to be installed (and not to worry etc). Then... when this has been done and Image Uploader has been installed and is available on the page I will hide the DIV using some simple Javascript. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance, Ryan

Hello Ryan, Image Uploader 6.x solves ths problem using Installation Progress: Please read Using Image Uploader Installation Progress fore more info or check online demo. You can try to use the script from version 6.x with Image Uploader 5.x, but there no any guarantee that it will work. To run version 6.x scripts you need to specify version 5.x CLASSID and control/applet versions. If you need more detailed instructions, please let me know. |
