Does photo kiosk have support for users to burn data cd/dvd's (photos to CD/DVD) directly from the software? That is a major factor deciding if the software would meet our needs. We have a large customer base who uses the kiosk just to archive photos to CD.

Hello Kayla,
Thanks for taking interest to our software.
Unfortunately Photo Kiosk does not support burning data to disks, nevertheless this feature is in ”wish” list and we plan to add it in the future.
What I would interest is how you are going to use burning functionality in terms of payment process. What is the workflow? Where does the customer pay for service and who process this payment?

We would be using the software in a retail location where it can be monitored and staff will be on hand to help with the ordering process (insert CD/DVD for burning). We would use the receipt printed from the kiosk and input the sales information in our POS. Ideally the receipt printed from the kiosk would be bar coded and the POS could read and interpret the code, but I think I am expecting to much.

Hello Kayla,
Thanks for sharing your ideas with me.
We are working on receipts now, new version will be able to print them. Printed receipts will contain details about the order (amount of photos, formats and so on) and ID of the order, bar code will not be supported in this version. I hope it will work for you. |

I would like to purchase the Photo Kiosk software. Do you recommend I wait for the new version to come out or will the current version be upgradeable?
