Can Graphics Mill 2.0 support extraction of EXIF and IPTC tags? If not, will version 3.0 provide that functionality? What is the timeframe for version 3.0 release? Also, do you provide any tools for dealing with Red Eye Reduction with Graphix Mill or is this a different product? Thanks, -AlexP.

Hello Alex, Can Graphics Mill 2.0 support extraction of EXIF and IPTC tags? Unfortunately Graphics Mill 2.0 doesn't support it. If not, will version 3.0 provide that functionality? What is the timeframe for version 3.0 release? Graphics Mill 3.0 for .NET supports reading and writing EXIF and IPTC. Release candidate version will be available in the end of this week, as well as final release in the begining of December. Also, do you provide any tools for dealing with Red Eye Reduction with Graphix Mill or is this a different product? We have not Red Eye Reduction tool now, but it will be available in the begining of 2005 as a part of Graphics Mill. ======= Edited by Fedor ======= |

Thank you for your prompt reply. We can wait for the 3.0 release, that's not a problem.If you are in interested in Beta Testing you can sign up for it here. The most important question for us is: can Graphix Mill *extract* tag info from the files provided to it? If not, do you have another product that can do that now or soon? I am sorry, I have made mistake in previous post. Sure it supports extracting EXIF tags from files. |
