Hello, I'm testing out the Java version of Image Uploader 5.5 for my website on a couple of machines and have encountered a strange issue. On one machine, it seems to work fine. However, on another machine I see the following: 1) The background behind the progress bars in the uploading pane stay white rather than change to color coding (green/red/cyan) as on the "working" machine. 2) Thumbnails ARE displayed in the file selection portion of the uploader, so I know they are being generated. But the thumbnail generation fails when it tries to make thumbnails (640x480) for upload. I either get the original huge file or an icon uploaded, depending on the Uploader settings. (Again, thumbnails are displayed properly in the file selection pane, so it doesn't match most of the other posts I've seen about thumbnail generation). 3) This occurs with both Firefox 3 and IE 7. I made sure to update to the latest Java version (JRE 6v7). No help. 4) FWIW, the original files I'm trying to upload are huge (~4000 x 3000 pixels) and I'm trying to use the thumbnail generation to create 640x480 sized images to be uploaded. As I said, this happens on one machine only, and works correctly on another machine I have, with the same sample images, even though it's just running JRE 6v3. Hello Steve, What operation system is installed on the machine where you experince the problem? Quote:

Could you give me a screenshot? This problem with thumbnail generation occurres from time to time or every time you try to upload image? Could you give me the content of Java console (see article Using Java Console) after Image Uploader finishes uploading on the problem machine? Is there any chance to get access to the page where Image Uploader is installed? I need to see Image Uploader settings and check how it works.
