Hello,

I was wondering if File Downloader can download remote files via HTTP? For example, if I have file downloader on the site http://mywebserver.com, and I want to allow people to download files that are stored in a different server, something like http://flickr.com/myimage.jpg, is this possible?

Thanks!

It is not possible due security reasons. If you host File Downloader on http://mywebserver.com, then you can download from http://mywebserver.com only. Please read Security Approach in File Downloader topic for more info.
