Hello, I'm interested in buying the Concurrent Upload File product but need it to work in https areas with Firefox. At the moment it only works in IE on a https area and both Firefox and IE in a http area. In Firefox I get the following error message 'Image Uploader encountered some problem. If you see this message, contact web master.' when I add a file and click Send. Please help

Hello,
Image Uploader for Java supports several certificate types. It looks like you are using some type of certificate not supported by Image Uploader. Which type do you use? |

Alex thanks for your response.
I'm developing on an internal server which uses a different certificate to the live site. The internal one is a non trusted certificate which I'm guessing cause this problem.
The live site is issued by Equifax Secure Global eBusiness CA-1 and is PKCS #1 MD5 With RSA Encryption. Does Image Uploaded support this one?

Hello, We are using a simple implementation of SecureProtocolSocketFactory in apache HttpClient library which is called EasySSLProtocolSocketFactory. The documentation of this class describes it with the following text: Quote:EasySSLProtocolSocketFactory can be used to creates SSL Sockets that accept self-signed certificates. Actually, if you have some problem while uploading via HTTPS protocol Image Uploader wirtes exception information to Java Console. Please, post this information here. |
