When you announced this version one of the statements was
Preserve Exif data in JPEG files.
I have now tested and got following result:
Source file upload: Exif preserved
Thumbnail upload: No Exif information
This is exactly the what I saw in ver 2.5.
So what has changed in 3.0 ?
I have a need for reading the Exif-information from the thumbnail files as I use these instead of the original files (using resize and rotate).

Erik, Preserve Exif data in JPEG files.
I have now tested and got following result:I am sorry, but we have to delay EXIF support till version 3.1. In version 3.0 we have implemented only support of EXIF thumbnails extraction. ========================================================

This topic is out of date.
Current version of Image Uploader supports working with EXIF and IPTC metadata.
