I'm using your Cold Fusion sample with the uploader. When a file is uploaded, the script rename it to "filename.jpg" but the problem is as follow: Example 1: original file: picture2.gif uploaded file: picture2.gif.jpg Example 2: original file: picture1.jpg uploaded file: picture1.jpg.jpg Please, can you tell me how I can fix this "file name" problem. Thanks!

As far as I understand, you upload a thumbnails, not an original file. As thumbnails are always compressed to JPEG format, .jpg extension is always appended. This way it is behaviour by design.

Is there a way, so I can only take the file name without the extention (photo1) so I dont get the 2 extensions, like: photo1.jpg.jpg or photo2.gif.jpg thanks
