Hello everyone, Aurigma announces new version of Image Uploader to be released in the beginning of July. It will be greatly improved and include the following new features: - Make thumbnails from more image format (including TIFF, PSD, etc).
- Lossless rotation of JPEG files, either manually or automatically.
- Preserve EXIF data in JPEG files.
- Improved progress bar (displays thumbnail of currently uploaded file, estimates time more accurate, etc).
- Auto-recovery of aborted connection.
- Quality meter (useful for print ordering).
- Full Unicode support (Chinese, and other Unicode characters will be supported properly).
- Fast thumbnail extraction.
- Many minor improvements.
API of this version will be compatible with versions 2.x, so you will have to make minimum changes in code to get new version working. Beta Testing You can sign up for beta testing here.
