Some people in this forum (including me) had some problems in connection with sessions. The reason why many third party applications like some typo3 modules etc. won't work properly with Image Uploader is not that Image Uploader messes up session cookies or data.
The real problem is that Image Uploader sends the client files (pictures, etc.) to the server and identifies itself as the user agent "Aurigma Image Uploader [...]" (something like that). It also does not send any language code or charset. Many third party applications monitor these fields to protect sessions against attacks and log off the user in case any of these fields changes.
An additional variable "transparent" would be great for the next version... in this case Image Uploader could take the language and user agent of the user.
I hope this saves some people some time ;D
