Hello, I already have Aurigma Image Uploader Version 4.0.047.0 in my client company www.FarmadotoDigital.com.ve. They have a lot of client using this version in both ActiveX and Java. Now we find that some client with Windows Vista have some problems using the ActiveX control. I see in your page, that the version 4.5.35.0 solves the problems with Windows Vista. I have some questions: 1) I need to pay for a new License Keys for the new version? 2) I don’t find any instructions or steps to migrate from my actual version to the new one. Is just replace the files ImageUploader2.jar and ImageUploader4.cab??? Or I need to change something else? What happened with all the client that have the old version? There is an automatic process to update this client?? 3) My client uses the redistributable file ImageUploaderRedistributable.zip to install the ActiveX in some of their client. There is an ImageUploaderRedistributable.zip file for the new version? 4) There are differences in the iuembed.js file between the versions? Thanks in advance |

Hello Lily, Here are the answers for you: 1) No, you don’t have to pay. Minor upgrades are free. 2) You have to replace ImageUploader4.cab, ImageUploader2.jar and iuembed.js files and specify the new version numbers on your page with image uploader (iu.activeXControlVersion = "4,5,35,0"; iu.javaAppletVersion = "2.5.35.0";). That’s all. Your clients will get the new version automatically. 3) Yes, the redistributable package is available too. 4) Yes, there are some differences and you should replace your iuembed.js file with the last one. |
